At UC Berkeley, Hannah’s passion for health and social equity led to her involvement in creating STEM Redefined, an initiative aimed at inspiring diverse students to engage in STEM as a way to address the gap between science and societal issues. To learn more about the complexities of societal health inequities, Hannah interned at the Stanislaus County Public Health Department where she participated in listening sessions with organizations to discuss how different factors affect the health of communities. Hannah hopes to work towards increasing access to affordable healthcare for marginalized communities. Hannah is a basketball enthusiast.
