Anna Wood

Anna received her BA in anthropology from Middlebury College, where she focused on global health, gender studies, and food justice. She completed her honors thesis on birth control use among college students, exploring contraceptives as a mode of menstrual suppression. While serving on Middlebury’s Health & Wellness Committee and Campus Hunger Project Cohort, Anna pushed for improved wellness resources. As an anthropology teaching assistant, she introduced students to “Community Connected, Project Based Learning,” a framework that strengthens community partnerships. Through Coro, Anna hopes to develop the communication skills necessary for sustainable social change. She enjoys triathlons, journalism, and a cappella.
