Andrea Kraus is a Principal Product Manager within PG&E’s Grid Research, Innovation & Development department. She currently focuses on strengthening the nearly-120 year old utility’s R&D practices, with the vision of making Northern California’s electric grid safer, cleaner, and more resilient through the rapid evaluation, development, and adoption of new technologies. Originally from Texas, Andrea’s path toward the Bay Area and the electric grid was shaped by Peace Corps service supporting energy access in rural Panama, the University of Michigan’s dual MBA/MS program focusing on Sustainable Energy Systems, and the dream of rooting down in a diverse urban area that celebrates and protects its interconnection with the natural world.
