Amos Lim is currently the Economic Justice Program Manager at Chinese for Affirmative Action. He has been working in the workforce development arena for the past 3.5 years providing LEP community members with employment services and works to remove multiple barriers to employment for the Chinese LEP community living in San Francisco. Amos brings with him extensive experience as a LGBTQQ and Immigration activist, issues that he cares deeply about since he immigrated in 1999 to San Francisco. He co-founded Out4Immigration, a grassroots LGBTQ Immigration Organization and has served on the San Francisco Human Rights Commission’s LGBTQ Advisory Committee for six years as well as the City College of San Francisco’s Bond Oversight Committee. Amos currently lives with his husband and daughter in the Outer Sunset of San Francisco
