Thao Nguyen is a transportation planner who is passionate about data-driven analysis and community engagement to improve street safety. She is currently a data manager of San Jose’s Vision Zero team. Before joining the San Jose Department of Transportation, Thao worked at planning and transportation consulting firms. Thao holds a Bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley and completed her Master’s degree in City Planning at University of Pennsylvania.
