Trevor ChandlerCitizen

Trevor Chandler is an accomplished political, public affairs, and government relations professional who has spearheaded groundbreaking strategies on issues ranging from marriage equality to the Middle East to tech. Trevor currently serves as the Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy for Citizen, the personal safety app. As a leader in the LGBTQ civil rights movement, Trevor worked as a key strategist for 7 marriage equality campaigns and multiple nondiscrimination campaigns, building historic bipartisan coalitions, targeted lobbying efforts, and legislator and voter persuasion campaigns. He was recently appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom to the State Board of Pharmacy. He’s also been appointed by Mayor London Breed to San Francisco’s Eastern Neighborhood Community Advisory Committee. In 2015 he was recognized by the Global Diversity List Presented by The Economist as one of the Top 50 Global Diversity Leaders in Public Life.
