AdrielOyagatawill be a Sophomore in the Fall of 2023 at The Bay School of San Francisco. He is involved in a variety of extra curricular activities including basketball, Latinos Unidos, chess club, and football fanatics. He also plays the guitar, loves to spend time with his family and loves to read. He volunteers at City Hope Community Center when he can and also coaches a basketball team. Through Coro, he hopes to develop his leadership skills, and leave an impact in the world.
Allison He will be a sophomore at Alameda High School in Fall 2023. She enjoys reading, doodling, playing word scrambles and is involved in her school’s Fashion Club. She has joined her school’s task force to welcome and guide international and refugee students for the next school year. Through Coro, she hopes to build confidence in public speaking and learn more about the issues of the Bay Area and beyond.
Anatalio “Talio” Ubalde will be a junior in the fall of 2023 at El Cerrito High School. He plays baseball for his high school and is the team captain. Anatalio enjoys going to the gym, as it has helped him stay in great shape and allowed him to create a healthier mindset. Talio has helped low-income individuals in West Oakland file their taxes through his volunteer work with the East Bay Asian Local Development Corporations’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Through Coro, Anatalio hopes to become a great leader who presents himself as a persuasive intellectual. He also hopes to incorporate what he learns from Coro into his everyday life.

Catherine Tsang will be a junior at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory School in Fall 2023. She is a part of the school newspaper, art magazine and will be on the student council next year. Outside of school, Catherine enjoys photography and reading. She also volunteers at her elementary school, helping teachers put together materials for students. Through Coro, she hopes to gain experience working with professional organizations and meet new people.

CelinePacho Castillo will be a senior at Lighthouse Community Charter School in Fall 2023. Celine enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, being part of the school’s student council, science and observing things under the microscope. Through Coro, they hope to learn how to shape their vision and make positive changes in their community.
Daniel Cheung will be a junior at Archbishop Riordan High School in the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. He loves playing basketball, listening to music, and buying and selling shoes in his free time. In addition, he is a part of the Knights of Riordan, the wellness club, and the Asian Student Association at school. Furthermore, some of his most recent volunteer work includes coaching boys basketball at his middle school and participating in the task force at the Ingleside Aim High summer program. At CORO, Daniel wants to become a person who can be comfortable in any environment he is put in.
Finn McDonald will be a sophomore at Lick-Wilmerding High School in Fall 2022. He enjoys basketball and is involved in their school’s graphic design club. He also volunteers with Breakthrough. Through Coro, he hopes to learn specific strategies to help grow his leadership and apply it to his day to day life.
DylanHoang will be a junior at Westmoor High School in Fall 2023. He enjoys running and biking and is involved in his school’s Ping Pong Club as well as the track and field team. He also volunteers with the Daly City Recreation Center. Through Coro, he hopes to learn how to make decisions by understanding the different perspectives of other people.
Hayden Caulfield will be a junior at Lowell High School in Fall 2023. She enjoys skiing and reading. She is president of clubs Lowell food donations which partners with food runners to donate food to local shelters, and the Lowell Graphic Novel Club which donates comic books to a nonprofit that provides resources to queer unhoused and at-risk youth. She worked the previous summer with a local artist Sirron Norris, and volunteers to help him with murals and projects. She has worked the last two winters as a junior ski instructor, and will continue this winter. She is fluent in Mandarin, and has been in a Mandarin immersion program since kindergarten. Through Coro, she hopes to learn leadership skills, how to work with community activists, improve her public speaking skills, and to develop relationships with her Coro peers.
Joey Liu will be a junior at the Urban School of San Francisco in Fall 2023. She enjoys reading literature, creative writing, and playing basketball with friends and family. Joey is also involved in her high school’s Asian/Pacific Islander Group (API) and Students for Women’s Equality and Rights (SWEAR) affinity groups, as well as the science and mahjong club. Through CORO, Joey hopes to learn how to act and engage in predicaments as a proper leader. She aims to achieve skills in comprehensive and quality thinking, advocacy confidence, and overall performance in complex situations.

Jonathan Lim will be a senior at St. Ignatius College Preparatory School in Fall 2023. He enjoys playing tennis and plays the trumpet for the school Jazz Band. Jonathan is the president of the SI poker club and is very involved in community service. He volunteers as an intern at City Hope and a youth aid at his church. Through Coro, Jonathan hopes to take risks, be challenged, and meet new people.
Ketzal Padilla will be a senior in Fall 2023. They enjoy playing music as well as composing digital music through software and creating montages of games with their music creations.
Lily Moges will be a sophomore at The Bay School of San Francisco in Fall 2023. She enjoys sports like volleyball and soccer. She is leading a few of her school’s clubs next year including Black Student Union and a gaming club. She also volunteers in social justice work. Through Coro, she hopes to learn how to improve as a leader on the field, in the classroom, and as a person.
Natalli Mishreky will be a senior at Castro Valley High School in Fall 2023. She enjoys playing volleyball and participating in competitive events. Through Coro, she hopes to learn how to be a better leader and gain a deeper understanding on how to communicate with people differently. She also wants to increase her experience in working with non-profit/ small businesses and government related organizations.
Sophia Larioza will be a senior at George Washington High School in Fall 2023. Sophia enjoys watching Netflix and nursing indoor plants. She is also involved in their school’s baking club. Through Coro, they hope to learn how to grow connections.
Soluna Ibarra-Tacdol will be a sophomore at Lick-Wilmerding High School in the Fall of 2023. She loves reading, crocheting, baking, and participating in the theater program at her school. At school she is involved in Kababayan Club (Filipino affinity space), FM Club (Women of Color), Latinx Unidos, and Unity (queer women of color). Through Coro, she hopes to learn more about how to work in community with others and how to set goals to help implement change, specifically within a school setting.
