Coro Northern California is delighted to announce the 73rd class of Coro Fellows in Public Affairs. The 2020-2021 Fellows were selected from a highly competitive national pool. Read their bios here.
The Coro Fellowship is an immersive experience for a cohort of leaders eager to make an impact in public affairs. We’ve adopted a virtual learning model for the fall to follow COVID-19 public health guidelines — and I am confident that the Fellows will receive an intensive, challenging learning experience this year.
In the months to come, each Fellow will complete virtual placements at a government agency, nonprofit organization, business, and labor/workforce development organization. Fellows will also complete a group development project, interview cross-sector leaders, and complete focused learning weeks dedicated to public finance, healthcare, and agriculture.
As always, we welcome the involvement and expertise of our network. If you’d like to serve as a placement host, interview guest, or offer a virtual workshop, please reach out to me.
As we all face continued uncertainty, I am endlessly hopeful to work with people who are bright, compassionate, and committed to creating a better world.
Thank you for welcoming a fantastic group of rising leaders. And thank you for supporting the Fellows Program in a multitude of ways!
Erika O. Carlsen is Director of the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs, and an alumna of the Coro Fellows Class of 2010. Visit our program page to learn more about the Fellows Program in Public Affairs.
