Coro Northern California is delighted to announce the 74th Class of Coro Fellows in Public Affairs. The 2021-2022 Fellows were selected from a highly competitive national pool. Read their bios here.

The Coro Fellowship is an immersive experience for a cohort of leaders eager to make an impact in public affairs. In the months to come, each Fellow will complete placements at a government agency, nonprofit organization, business, political campaign, and labor/workforce development organization. Fellows will also complete a group development project, interview cross-sector leaders, and engage in focus weeks dedicated to public finance, healthcare, communications, and agriculture.

We’re also delighted to welcome Dharmishta Rood to the Coro team. Dharmishta will steward the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs as Program Director. She brings a range of experience, from fellowships in academia to leading a startup accelerator for companies that work with the government to facilitating a global community of 360,000 people across 159 countries. Dharmishta holds an EdM from Harvard University and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from UCLA with a BA in Design | Media Arts. Please join us in welcoming her to the Coro community!

As always, we welcome the involvement and expertise of our network. If you’d like to serve as a placement host, interview guest, or offer a virtual workshop, please contact Program Manager, Jeanette Freiberg: jfreiberg@coronorcal.org

Join us in welcoming a fantastic group of rising leaders!

Erika O. Carlsen is Senior Director of Training, Former Director of the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs, and an alumna of the Coro Fellows Class of 2010. Visit our program page to learn more about the Fellows Program in Public Affairs.
