Vivian Po joined the San Francisco Office of the City Administrator in February 2021. Prior to that, Vivian served as the Communications Director to former elected Assessor Carmen Chu, where she oversaw media relations and developed communications strategies.
Vivian has a background in journalism. Fluent in Chinese, Vivian began her career as a reporter with the local Chinese press before joining New America Media, a nonprofit organization, where she focused on empowering ethnic media journalists. Vivian graduated from University of California, Berkeley and earned a Masters’ Degree in Public Administration from the University of San Francisco in 2017.
