Sylvia Bereknyei Merrell is a Research Scholar at Stanford University School of Medicine, with over sixteen years of experience conducting qualitative and mixed methods research studies in medical education, health services, and healthcare disparities. She surprised herself with loving teaching and mentoring graduate students and trainees to design more rigorous research method projects. She graduated with a Doctorate of Public Health from the University of California-Berkeley School of Public Health.
