After graduating from the University of California, Davis, Sara Heady moved to the Bay Area to enter a career in marketing analysis and content management. Being in the Bay Area and inspired by independent artists, she decided to start her own online stained glass and portraiture business. Although successful, Sara wanted to make more of a difference in the immediate community, and thus pursued a brief career in behavioral health and analysis as a clinician working with Autistic learners. Today, Sara is a co-founder of a community zero-waste organization and is Community Relations Director for Oakland First Fridays.
