Samia Zuber is a first-generation Eritrean-American and San Francisco native dedicated to advancing racial equity and social justice. Her passion for education equity began at City College of San Francisco (CCSF), where she served in student government, organized for Coleman Youth Advocates, and spearheaded the creation of a resource center for undocumented students. Professionally, she has championed racial equity at Code2040 and now serves as executive director at Hack the Hood, empowering youth of color in tech. A former softball pitcher, Samia values teamwork and collaboration in leadership. She also serves on BART’s Link21 Equity Advisory Committee and Boost! West Oakland advisory board.
