Mike Lee, born and raised in Oakland is the Deputy Director at Destiny Arts Center, with over 15 years of experience in social services and youth development. Holding a Social Work degree from San Francisco State University, Mike passionately champions investing in young people and creating secure spaces for creative expression. Since 2019, he has demonstrated adept strategic oversight at Destiny Arts, driving continuous expansion in impactful youth development programs. In addition to his role, Mike served on the Advisory Board for the Equitable Futures Project (Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation) and holds a board position for BlueSkies for Children Preschool, highlighting his commitment to community impact and education.
