Mariana serves on the faculty for the Nehemiah Emerging Leaders Program (NELP), a nine-month leadership development program for diverse mid-career professionals in the Sacramento region. NELP is collaboration between Coro, the American Leadership Forum, and the Nehemiah Foundation.
She graduated from Coro’s Fellowship in Public Affairs in San Francisco (Class of 1989). She has been involved with Coro in many ways over the years, serving as a Selection Day judge, participating in Coro’s marketing committee, and serving on the evaluation team assessing Coro’s program model.
In her consulting practice, Mariana Moore Consulting, she provides strategic counsel, organizational development, executive coaching and capacity building services to nonprofit and governmental entities throughout the Bay Area. She has delivered numerous workshops on topics ranging from organizational development and fundraising to board performance and executive leadership. In addition, as director of the Human Services Alliance of Contra Costa, Mariana leads and participates in a number of governmental change and collective impact initiatives.
