Kim Bardakian is the Sr. Partnerships Director at the Kapor Center, a nonprofit that aims to diversify and level the playing field in the tech industry and entrepreneurship. Previously, she worked with Visit Oakland, the tourism bureau for the city, where she helped shift the outward perception of Oakland through positive media coverage.
Kim is active in the community and sits on various boards including the Maynard Institute; Bay Area Storytellers of Color (BASC) and the Oakland Uptown Business Improvement District. A native New Yorker, Bardakian holds both a Bachelor and Masters from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI. She proudly resides in Oakland where she is an avid tennis player.
