James Kealohi (he/him) is the Director of Employment Services at the SF LGBT Center, where he oversees events, workshops, job search support and other employment programs to assist community members in finding supportive employment opportunities. James’s approach to employment programs includes an intersectional framework that is shaped by his educational background and personal experience. James received his Bachelor’s from UC Berkeley, where he studied Gender & Women’s Studies and was President of the University’s queer fraternity, Sigma Epsilon Omega. Most recently, James was working in the disability space with a nonprofit focused on assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities reach their goals, where he was responsible for managing employment and internship programming throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. At both his last and current organization, James has served on the Racial Equity Planning Committee.
