Emily Thielmann manages team-based strategic consulting projects with Third Plateau Social Impact Strategies — working with funders, nonprofits, public agencies, and issue-based networks towards lasting change in areas like democracy reform and education equity. Immediately prior to Third Plateau, Emily led projects in Maine designed to leverage youth and community-led systems change to improve opportunities for young people locally and nationally. Emily holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Vassar College and a Master’s in Public Policy and Management from the University of Southern Maine. She is a Speaker Emeritus with the Nellie Mae Education Foundation Speakers Bureau on Education Innovation.
