Echa Schneider is a web and digital strategist with a passion for harnessing the power of technology to empower people to make positive change in their lives and communities. Most recently she worked for the City of Berkeley, where she managed citywide online communications, spearheaded an organization-wide web reinvention initiative, and led internal and external COVID-19 communications for Berkeley Public Health. Previously, she has developed websites, crafted digital campaigns, and supported online education tools at the Oakland Public Library, San Jose State University, and for a variety of public and private-sector clients. Her work has garnered multiple industry awards, including the 2019 Granicus Digital Government “Difference Maker” Award, and 2020 CAPIO Excellence in Public Communication “Crisis Communications” Award.
