With a background primarily focused on addressing family homelessness in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dawna transitioned to Defy Ventures to champion second chances and foster positive transformation within communities. Outside of her professional endeavors, Dawna dedicates her time to nurturing two businesses she established during the pandemic, balancing her commitment to social impact with entrepreneurial pursuits.
