Cindy Rodas was born in San Francisco and raised in the Bay Area, daughter of immigrant parents from El Salvador. Her parents instilled in her the importance of hard work and education at a very young age. Cindy attended Diablo Valley College and received her Associate in Arts degree and began her career in banking, ascending quickly in to management. Shortly thereafter she began her family and a new career in the public sector. Returning to her core principles on the importance of education, she enrolled at the University of Phoenix to earn a BA in Business and Accounting and is currently the Interim Finance Director for the Town of Portola Valley.
