Christine Omata is the Assistant Director, Brand Communications at University of California, San Francisco, where she manages brand strategy and marketing communications for the university. She’s spent her career working for large health care organizations including Kaiser Permanente and Blue Shield. Christine has a Master of Public Administration from the University of San Francisco, where her studies focused on health disparities, hospital community benefit and health care social impact. She is also a long-time Executive Board member of La Casa de las Madres. Christine lives in San Francisco with her husband and 5-year-old daughter. Currently, you can find her navigating the blurred lines of work, life with an essential worker spouse, and virtual kindergarten.
