Chance Kawar is a lifelong Californian, born and raised in sunny San Diego and currently residing in foggy San Francisco. He graduated from Pitzer College in 2017, with a Political Science major and a Spanish minor, and is an alumnus of the Coro Fellowship for Public Affairs in Los Angeles. Chance is the Operations & People Manager for Greenbelt Alliance, an environmental nonprofit focused on climate change resiliency and advocacy in the Bay Area. He’s a National Parks enthusiast, who spends most of his free time hiking, camping, and traveling! Chance lives with his boyfriend and their rescue dog, Smokey.
