Celina Chan is a transportation planner with a background in public health, economic development, and urban planning. She is currently a Transportation Planner at the Oakland Department of Transportation (OakDOT) where she works on corridor projects and long-range transportation planning. Prior to joining OakDOT, Celina worked as an urban planner, as a project manager at a federally qualified health center, and as an active transportation consultant. Her interests lie at the nexus of public health and the built environment. She’s passionate about improving the quality of life and health outcomes for low-income communities, communities of color, and immigrants.
