Carrie Crespo-Dixon moved to the Bay Area from NYC in 2009. She’s a communication professional with over two decades of experience in the consumer sector working both in-house and on the agency side. Carrie is particularly passionate about racial equity, social justice and civic engagement both locally and nationally. In 2012 she had the unique opportunity to work on the Obama campaign, acting as Deputy Director of the first ever Tech Field Office in San Francisco. In 2016 Carrie joined Make Oakland Better Now! as a board member, and completed a Master’s of Science in Digital Marketing in 2019. Her goal is to pursue a role as a change agent through storytelling that leverages traditional and digital mediums.
