Anitra Smith is a Program Officer with the Sunlight Giving Foundation. In this role, she manages grantmaking for safety net services in health, food, housing, and immigration across multiple counties in the Greater Bay Area. Anitra partners with nonprofits and community based organizations dedicated to providing basic needs to families with young children experiencing poverty. Anitra holds a Master in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.S in Human Development from the University of California, Davis. Anitra is a proud Oakland native. She enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring the outdoors.
