At Coro, we have been innovating new ways to support working and leading across differences on key issues that impact all of us, like education, health care, the environment, and workforce development.
We are absolutely thrilled to announce the launch of the Water Solutions Network (WSN). The WSN is designed to deepen relationships among rising leaders in the water sector. We are honored to partner with Water Education for Latino Leaders (WELL) and DIG IN to launch this new program, with support from the S.D. Bechtel Foundation. The network is guided by a diverse group of California leaders drawn from all sectors, with our first cohort launching in April. You can learn more about about this new programhere.
The legacy of San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee
This morning in San Francisco, we were shocked and saddened to learn that Mayor Ed Lee passed away unexpectedly. A strong supporter of Coro, Mayor Lee met with our Fellows, provided meet and greets for our auction, spoke at our luncheons, and helped champion our new initiatives focused on San Francisco neighborhoods. Mayor Lee embodied a dedication and commitment to public service that was a model for many. We are grateful for his contributions to San Francisco and for the ways he inspired many in our community over the years.
Happy holidays,
Laney
