I am amazed and enlightened through the Coro experience. In two months, this program was able to enhance who I was as a person and a leader. Coro did not change who I was, they simple embraced diversity and brought out the best in everyone. Specific example would be the multiple intelligences and the leadership compass. I was also “enlightened” because of our movement on creating a community action project. As we interviewed a variety of guests, all with different careers and perspectives, and as we debated over what topic to do for our project, these two main components were a really huge part in opening my mind to the reality of the world. The interview guests really gave that personal/pathos connection and the CAP topics really showed me what was going on RIGHT NOW in society.
