Teresa Y. Lam is a skilled advocate that is dedicated to advancing racial justice and equity through health policy. Born and raised in San Francisco Chinatown, Teresa has been involved in advocacy work in their community from a young age. Teresa has worked on numerous policy campaigns throughout Alameda County. Their present work is in anti-tobacco and smoke-free policy in the government sector. A proud San Francisco public school and community college alumna, Teresa has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from University of California, Davis. During their free time, Teresa enjoys hiking, reading and listening to live music.
