Katharine Pan has been working in the urban planning field for over a decade, both as a private sector consultant preparing general plans and environmental analyses for communities across California and as a planner and permit analyst at a public agency. She is currently serving as the Shoreline Development Program Manager at the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission, where she works with developers and stakeholders to ensure the rights of the public to the Bay shoreline. She is passionate about delving into the intricacies of policy and regulation and translating them into actual built environments that are equitable and sustainable, and that can positively impact our everyday lives.
