Angie Lozada is the Network Resource Manager at ICA. She is responsible for the daily operations and administration of ICA’s Alumni, Advisor, and Professional Service Provider (PSP) Networks. Her goal is to ensure that ICA’s resources are aligned with the ever changing needs of ICA’s Alumni. Prior to joining ICA, Angelica held various account management/sales positions in the eCommerce space where she focused on building relationships with clients to ensure that all of their business needs were met. 

Angelica earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Brittni Chicuata is the Senior Director of Investments at the Bay Area office of Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), a national nonprofit that serves as the connector between communities and the capital and relationships they need to access opportunity and generate wealth. The opportunity to be closer to the community building work and more embedded within it has broadened her understanding of what communities, particularly the Bay Area, need to prosper. Her hope is to lend her professional experience and voice as a woman of color together to the affordable housing and mission based lending community at large.  

Chrissy Sa is a Bay Area native and former NYC public school teacher. She works at the San Francisco Foundation as Program Associate on the People Team, overseeing the Decriminalize Poverty portfolio. She is deeply passionate about equity, belonging, community, building power, mental health and Harry Potter.

Christine Trowbridge is an Oakland born, Mexican-American educator.  She is passionate about art, community building and equitable education. When she is not teaching you can find her drawing, hiking, and running. As an educator Christine works to build partnerships across the educational K-14 pipeline, and is deeply committed to student success in higher education. Over the course of her career she has worked at the Berkeley Unified School District, San Francisco State University, and Berkeley City College. Currently at Berkeley City College her work is focused on student success, outreach and retention with a racial equity lens working to support BCC’s first Title V DHSI Grant.

Eden Chan is a proud daughter of Oakland Chinatown, and has built her career upon doing good work and taking good care of people. She currently serves as the Deputy Director of Culture & Communications for the Office of the Mayor.

Prior to this, Eden spent 14 years with the GLIDE Foundation in San Francisco, building on the legacy of activist co-founders Rev. Cecil Williams and Janice Mirikitani. She was most recently GLIDE’s Director of Strategic Partnerships & Special Projects, serving a key leadership role in their fundraising, events and communications strategy. Eden has also worked with the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank and the Mosaic Project in Oakland.

Eden serves on the Board of the iconic Glide Memorial Church, and was the founding Board Secretary of Sol Sisters Inc, a non-profit serving under-resourced women in the Bay Area. She holds a BA in Classics from New York University.

Elena Fairley has a decade plus of experience in leadership positions at high-impact, innovative organizations committed to building economic mobility. Currently, she is a Strategy and Operations Consultant with Mission Asset Fund (MAF), a tech-forward nonprofit on a mission to help people become visible, active, and successful in their financial lives. Previously, she served as MAF’s Programs Director, where she oversaw MAF’s award-winning programs, including Lending Circles, a zero-interest, credit-building loan program. Elena has also served as the Director for Learning and Partnerships at Prospera, a nonprofit that partners with women to develop worker-owned cooperative businesses that have the potential to double and triple worker-owners’ incomes. Elena has an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas, and has served as Co-Chair of the Lending Circles Partner Advisory Council and as a Board Member of Prospera.

Espe Greenwood is an experienced, high-energy communications executive. Born in Mexico City and raised in San Diego, and make my home in Pleasant Hill. I have a proven ability to develop and implement successful public relations, marketing and social responsibility initiatives for nonprofits, public and private organizations. I am proud of my reputation for strategic planning, media and communications, creative problem solving, and relationship management to increase reach and donation support. My passion is to connect individuals with tools and resources that improve their everyday lives. I aim to empower my teams to push the boundaries of digital, social and media communications.

Evelyn Torres is a Public Relations Strategist raised in the Bay Area and a first-generation immigrant from Lima, Peru. With a deep commitment to public service, Evelyn has focused her career on community organizing, political campaigns, marketing and communications, fundraising, and public policy for nonprofits and government entities. Evelyn is also actively involved in local groups. She is currently serving as a Commissioner for the City of Oakland’s Parks and Recreation and the Housing, Residential Rent and Relocation Board. She holds a B.A. in Latino/a Studies from San Francisco State University, emphasizing public policy and politics in issues of the Latinx communities.

Garima Sahai is a technology and organizational leader with 20+ years of experience, most recently as an Engineering Director at Google Inc responsible for Search & Map Ads products. She migrated to the US in 2001 for her Masters in Computer Science from Stanford University, after a BTech in CS from BITS Pilani, India. She has a strong passion for social impact: has served as a DEI Lead and Women in Tech champion while at Google and currently on the board for Family Engagement Lab, a nonprofit enabling equity in education. She lives in California and is a mother of 2.

Jaclyn Perrin-Martinez is a senior climate adaptation planner, author, and communications specialist working on sea level rise adaptation planning and policy in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is passionate about engaging diverse stakeholders across sectors and disciplines to explore creative multi-benefit solutions that improve the health of natural ecosystems and human quality of life. In her current role, Jaclyn is leading the development of a Regional Shoreline Adaptation Plan with the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission (BCDC) to help cities and counties in the Bay Area advance more coordinated, consistent, and ecologically-sound adaptation based around a shared regional vision of success. In her spare time, Jaclyn can be found caring for her houseplants, hiking along the coast, or dreaming up creative new projects.

Kimia Haddadan has been leading key housing policy initiatives in San Francisco as part of SF Planning for over a decade. She led SF’s first housing Plan centered in racial and social equity and also led designing legislative frameworks for housing policy including designing and establishing San Francisco’s Accessory Dwelling Unit program. Currently, Kimia is leading the Tenderloin initiatives, a cross-sector and interagency effort to address homelessness and improve quality of life for the most marginalized residents.

Kristin Robinson (she/they) is an educator with a focus on the emotional wellness of youth. She supports young people in developing tools to build healthy relationships with themselves and their community. Currently a Dean of Students with Aspire Public Schools, she connects with school communities to foster equity and joy. Drawing on her commitment to challenge the school-to-prison-pipeline, she mediates conflict resolution via restorative practices. As a part of school-wide systems that prioritize a proactive approach to intervention over punitive discipline, she supports teachers with social-emotional learning implementation, practices alternatives to suspension, and facilitates multi-tier support services. She identifies as an emotion scientist whose practice is steeped in mindfulness and social-emotional learning. Prior to her work in TK-12 schools, she worked in college access with aspiring first-generation college students to disrupt inequitable access to higher education. Much of her energy over the past decade has centered on advocating with and for queer youth so that their identities are honored and uplifted. She earned a master’s degree in International and Multicultural Education from the University of San Francisco and a bachelor’s in Social Work and French. Coming from a lineage of hula dancers, she is a hula dancer herself with the Academy of Hawaiian Arts based in East Oakland.

Laura Ornelas is a first-generation immigrant from Mexico and lifelong learner with a passion for giving back and disrupting spaces “not meant” for her. She is currently Sr. Executive Assistant & Special Projects Manager at Mission Economic Development Agency, where she utilizes her strong problem solving and project management skills to lead multiple projects across the organization. As a connector, Laura is able to quickly pick up new skills and strategically implement them to develop creative solutions. Outside of work, she loves hiking around the East Bay and cooking tasty food.

Lauran Acevedo is an accomplished business development manager with over 15 years of experience in the public, non-profit and private sectors establishing relationships across organizations, leading large-scale community events, and managing programs. Lauran’s background in multiple sectors has developed in her a deep reserve of knowledge to achieve business objectives through successful cross-functional collaboration and fostering innovation through strategic partnerships.  For instance, Lauran’s current role as an Employer Engagement Manager for the City and County of San Francisco has given her the opportunity to learn the workforce ecosystem and see where the business sector and the non-profit community can collaborate and partner to create job opportunities for underserved San Franciscans.  Additionally, Lauran has spent the past seven years in the public sector optimizing continuous improvements to market and message workforce partner programs to the business community and job seekers to make accessing government resources more user-friendly.

Myisha Robertson is a skilled leader with extensive experience in philanthropy, social responsibility, and strategic planning. She has a strong track record in program and project management, business operations, and community outreach. Myisha has impacted the non-profit, professional sports, and government sectors through her ability to create and maintain partnerships, develop impactful initiatives and engage stakeholders. Currently serving as the President and CEO of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the National Black MBA Association, Myisha advances professional development, corporate diversity, and access to diverse talent. She holds a Bachelor’s in Mass Media Communications, an MBA, and a Master’s in Public Administration. In addition, Myisha is a fitness enthusiast and has been teaching Zumba® and group fitness classes for over a decade.

Nara Babakhanyan has over a decade of experience in workforce and economic development, strategy, planning, and operations. She has led high-impact programs across private, public, and social sectors supporting and driving talent for the future of work. She has advanced policy and industry-relevant research, and consulted businesses and clients on sector-based initiatives which include workforce and leadership development, pre-apprenticeship program models, business attraction and retention, public-private partnerships, capacity building, training, and social services. Nara is deeply committed to advancing social, education, and economic equity, and is passionate about talent mobility, women’s leadership and empowerment. She currently serves the City and County of San Francisco in people development and enablement functions. 

As Director of Digital Product Management, Olga Bergstrom is responsible for the planning and prioritization of technical enhancements to the online system that enables Grantmakers and NGOs to request and process equivalency determinations through NGOsource, a product of TechSoup. Prior to joining TechSoup, Olga held the position of Director of global web and product strategy at Herbalife International. She has also taught elementary school and held positions in human resources and office management before moving towards a career in technology. Olga holds a bachelor’s in Political Science from U.C. San Diego and a master’s in Humanities from Mount St. Mary’s University. She also enjoys singing and working on her graphic novel.

Rebekah Weber has worked at the intersection of environmental and agricultural policy for over a decade. As the policy director at California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF), she advocates for organic agriculture as a solution to climate, health, and economic challenges. Prior to joining CCOF, Rebekah advanced policies in the Vermont State House to clean up Lake Champlain, engaged in farmer outreach as a Fulbright Fellow in Nepal, and worked on agricultural policy for U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy. She holds a master’s degree in environmental law and policy from Vermont Law School.

Sally Chen is the Education Equity Policy Manager at Chinese for Affirmative Action, where she advocates for universal, no cost, and racially diverse K-16 education for all students. Before her current position, she managed a job center for Chinese immigrants and advocated for affirmative action policies in local hiring. As a first-generation college graduate from a working-class immigrant family, she is a proud alumna of Harvard College, where she also organized for racial justice issues including race-conscious admissions. Sally currently lives in San Francisco (where she was born and raised) and enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and community gardening.

Shay Franco-Clausen is a fierce political consultant, who advocates tirelessly to empower, educate and support stronger, comprehensive legislation that benefits marginalized communities that she has proudly risen from. 

Shay holds a B.A. in Public Policy from Mills College and is currently completing the Executive Leadership in State and Local Government at Harvard Kennedy School. She was instrumental in extending the statute of limitations on felony domestic violence, protecting endangered open space and restoring voting rights for people on parole.

Stephany Welch is a native of the Bay Area. She currently lives in Oakland California and works in San Francisco. As the student recruitment and outreach coordinator for Life Learning Academy, she utilizes 10 years experience in youth development – direct service programs including Yosemite Church Next GEN Ministries, Young Life, Building Young Leaders, Girls Inc. of Alameda County and Community Youth Center (CYC). In her current role, the goals are to connect with youth centered organizations to support student referrals and workforce development opportunities. In her work she is passionate about capacity building, leadership development, community driven collaborations, transformation and warmth. She is also a published author, seeking to be heard while encouraging others to share their stories and imagination. If the term “geriatric millennial” had a picture next to its definition hers would be there.  And she’s a-okay with that! “Writing my second book and first novel was the purpose of a lifetime.” Dignity, respect, compassion, security, opportunity and growth are the values that keep on giving to her ever evolving womanhood.

Tiffany Liu is a systems thinker with a decade of experience working in the nonprofit sector, committed to tackling complex social issues with the lens of compassion, equity, and collective empowerment. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Grants and Programs at the San Francisco General Hospital, supporting leaders and initiatives in public health through grantmaking. Tiffany was born in Hayward and grew up in Taipei. She holds a B.A. in History and Art history from NYU and an M.S. from The New School in nonprofit management and social policy. In her free time, she enjoys reading, puzzles, tennis, and trying new recipes.

Veronica Surrette-Fahey is passionate about cultivating connection and empathy through service. Currently, she holds the role as Volunteer Engagement Manager at St. Anthony Foundation where she leads a team to recruit, educate, and engage a workforce of over 10,000 volunteers instrumental to the success of providing essential services daily. Originally from Massachusetts, she graduated from the University of Redlands with a BA in Visual and Media Studies. After her service year with AmeriCorps NCCC, Veronica relocated to San Francisco. Outside of work, Veronica finds joy in cooking, long walks fueled by iced coffee, and eating her way through San Francisco.
