Welcome to Coro’s inaugural Lead Bay Area Fellows!

Lead Bay Area convenes mid-level and early-executive leaders from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors for an intensive, part-time leadership training experience.

Over the next 8 months, the Lead Bay Area Fellows will expand their leadership skills, dive into the Bay Area’s most pressing challenges, and cultivate a thriving professional network — all in service of making the Bay Area a more equitable place. Check out their bios to learn more.

The Fellows are off to an excellent start, learning essential Coro leadership skills, and creating leadership maps and peer coaching groups. The Fellows decided to focus their four issue area days on Education, Economic Development, Criminal Justice and Public Safety, and Environment and Climate Change.

Fellows shared how excited they are for the opportunity to dive deeper on these issues and to continue to develop the genuine connections they’ve already found in their peer coaching groups.

Stay tuned for more updates.

Erika O. Carlsen is Senior Director of Training, Former Director of the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs, and an alumna of the Coro Fellows Class of 2010. Visit our program page to learn more about Lead Bay Area.
