Abby Rovner (she/her) is a social sector leader, educator and advocate with two decades of experience collaborating across sectors to build mission-driven organizations, joyful, high-impact programs, and the conditions for young people to thrive, learn and lead in equitable and transformational ways. She is the founder and former Executive Director of Horizons at SFFS and San Francisco’s “I Have a Dream” Foundation, both community-centered nonprofits that partner with students and families most underserved by our systems to advance education access, opportunity and justice. Abby has served as a coach and consultant supporting local school and nonprofit leaders as they navigate the challenges of COVID-19. She also recently joined the board of First Exposures, a youth arts organization that leverages the power of mentoring relationships and photography to develop and elevate the creativity, leadership and diverse voices of young Bay Area artists.
Abby is bilingual in Spanish and holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Policy Analysis and Evaluation from Stanford University.
