“Two cheers for democracy: one because it admits variety and two because it permits criticism.”
—E.M. Forster
As we draw close to Election Day 2020, we’re asking the brilliant Coro network to weigh in about the meaning of democracy. We invite you to share a brief video or written testimonial on the theme, What Democracy Means to Me.
Here are a few prompts to consider:
- What does democracy mean to you? Has that evolved over time?
- What motivates or inspires you to vote?
- How do you define your obligations (if any) as a participant in our democracy?
- What is your hope for our democracy moving forward?
How to share your story:
Take a vertical, 15-second video of yourself, or submit a response (up to 250 words) in writing.
Upload your testimonial using this online form.
Please submit your response by September 30, 2020 in order to be included in our blog and social media posts.
We’ll share responses over the course of the coming months. Make sure you’re following Coro’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter) to see how our network responds.
Thank you for participating!
