The Fellows are currently working on their group projects. This year’s projects include: helping to design and promote the Public Rights Project’s pilot legal fellowship program, evaluating and making recommendations for the Coastal Conservancy’s Explore the Coast grant program, and reviewing past SFUSDinvestments to cross-check their alignment to the school district’s goals, vision, and target population. February 4 – 8, the Northern California Fellows will be joined by their Southern California counterparts in Sacramento for a weeklong exploration of the form and function of California’s state government. Their week will feature conversations and shadowings of top California government officials.
