Evita Chavez LISC Bay Area

Evita Chavez is a Senior Program Officer at LISC Bay Area and a heart-driven leader committed to community. Previously, she served as a Program Officer at the San Francisco Foundation, where she led a $4 million housing advocacy and policy portfolio and managed the Partnership for the Bay’s Future Policy Grant Program. She also supported key affordable housing production, preservation, and tenant protection efforts. Earlier in her career, Evita served as a Legislative Assistant to Senator Bob Wieckowski, staffing housing and transportation policy, including landmark ADU legislation. She holds a Master’s in Urban Planning from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s degree from Occidental College. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the Bay Area, running, and planning adventures with friends.
