Courtney Cooperman is the Senior Manager of Community Engagement at the Nonprofit Housing Association of Northern CA (NPH), where she mobilizes NPH’s members to participate in resident civic engagement and electoral campaigns. Courtney is dedicated to empowering affordable housing residents to make their voices heard in the democratic process. She previously led the National Low Income Housing Coalition’s Our Homes, Our Votes campaign, an initiative to increase voter turnout among low-income renters and elevate housing as an election issue. Courtney holds a BA in Political Science from Stanford University, where her thesis focused on homelessness and political inequality, and an MA in Public Policy from George Washington University.
