On March 21st, almost 60 diverse women professionals presented their professional narratives and took part in a graduation ceremony as part of the University of California Women’s Initiative (UC WI). The program is designed to help advance the professional development of mid-career women faculty, staff members, and academic personnel. Coro delivers this intensive four-session program, designed in collaboration with the Systemwide Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (SACSW) and UC Systemwide Talent Management.

The program shows excellent results: one-third of UC WI graduates directly attributed promotions, salary increases, and other advancement opportunities to their participation in the program—all within six months of graduating. Ninety-three percent said that their Coro experience positively impacted their self-assessment of their future potential. Our second cohort of the year is currently underway.
